Netherlands Heart Institute

The Netherlands Heart Institute is the platform of the cardiology departments of the eight university medical centres of the Netherlands. We foster excellent cardiovascular research on a national and international level. We aim to promote cooperation between university medical centres in the Netherlands and between scientists and the private sector.

Dutch Cardiovascular Alliance

To secure continuity in high quality and innovative research, the Dutch CardioVascular Alliance invests in identifying and nurturing the most talented cardiovascular researchers, who will become the leaders of the future in national and international research consortia, or have a strategic position in a non-academic sector.

The Dutch Heart Foundation invests millions of euros in research on heart diseases. We promote solutions to recognize and treat heart diseases before they become clinically manifest. Promoting cardiovascular talent is one of our major focuses.

We support young cardiovascular research in all domains (clinical, preclinical, technical, other) from all Dutch Universities, including Amsterdam UMC, Erasmus MC, LUMC, Maastricht UMC+, Radboud UMC, Technical University Eindhoven, Technical University Delft, UMC Groningen, UMC Utrecht, Wageningen University, and beyond.
